Two Sun Knives started because most outdoor gear is designed for mountains and forests—but some of us actually live where it’s hot. Where sweat makes handles slippery. Where gear sits in a truck bed at 120 degrees and you need a blade that works in dust and humidity, not just around a campfire in Colorado.
We make knives for people who use them in the sun.
That means materials that won’t degrade in the heat and handles that stay grippy when wet. Designs that make sense when you’re actually working—not just posing for Instagram at a trailhead. Our knives get tested in Arizona, Texas, and Florida. Not just a temperature-controlled workshop.
There is no heritage story about a grandfather’s forge here. No claims about ancient blade-making traditions. Just knives that work in the conditions most knife companies pretend don’t exist. If you live somewhere with actual summer, you know what we’re talking about.
Honestly, I think we’ve all been there—buying a “premium” blade only to have the scales warp or the lock-up get gritty after one afternoon in a humid swamp. It’s infuriating. I’ve always felt that if a tool can’t handle a little Florida humidity or a dusty Texas ranch, it’s just a paperweight. That’s why the M390 steel on the TS16 or the TS81 is such a big deal… it actually holds an edge when the world is melting around you. . . it just works.
Maybe it’s the Night Morning Design influence, or maybe we just got tired of slippery handles.

Two Sun makes knives for users, not collectors. Every design balances function with craftsmanship—tools meant to be carried, worked, and trusted daily.

“I’ve put my Two Sun through everything—wet wood, rope, food prep on the trail. The CF-S35VN model still feels like the day I bought it. No blade play, no rust, just ready.”
Marcus T.
“I was skeptical about the price point, but the TS21 has better action than folders twice the cost. It’s become my daily carry—smooth, solid, and people always ask about it.”
Elena K.
“Used to baby my knives. Now I actually use them. My Two Sun flipper has been through six months of job site abuse and still drops shut like glass. That’s what I needed.”
James R.

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping takes 5–7 business days within the continental United States. Expedited options are available at checkout for faster delivery.
Hand washing with mild soap and warm water is recommended. The blade should be dried thoroughly after each use to prevent moisture buildup. Avoid dishwashers, as high heat and harsh detergents can damage the finish and handle materials.
A limited lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Normal wear, misuse, and accidental damage are not covered. Warranty claims require proof of purchase and photos of the issue.
Items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided they’re unused and in original packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
Replacement components can be ordered directly through customer service. Commonly requested parts include protective sheaths and mounting hardware, which are kept in stock for most models.
Sharpening at home is possible using a whetstone or honing rod designed for similar blade types. For those unfamiliar with the process, professional sharpening services are recommended to maintain proper angle and edge quality.
